First Solid Food

The dr. said it was okay to go ahead with solid foods, so on Friday night we started our little bean on some rice cereal. She loved it! It was very messy and she went straight to the tub afterward. Notice how serious Todd looks. Hilarious.

Halloween

Stella was going to be a pumpkin for halloween, but the fact that she goes to bed at 5:00 p.m. poses a problem for any potential trick or treating or even a grownups party. We figured that our social lives have taken enough of a beating, so we powered through the fussiness and took her to our friends house for some pumpkin ale and chili with Dylan, Nathan, Carson and Ellie. Stella lasted about 5 minutes before I took her upstairs to pass out on our hosts bed. Overall, a fun evening for mom and dad. For Stella, not so much. This photo was taken in the 30 seconds she had her pumpkin outfit on. As my sister says, "That's all you need-1 photo!"

Stella's Baptism

On November 2, Stella got baptized. She is now eligible for the kingdom of heaven, whew! She was surrounded by lots of family-her two aunts Dorothy and Sarah, her cousin Jack, all four of her grandparents, and we even had her great Grandmother nana there! Lots of love for this little girl-she is very lucky! Her godparents are Emily White and Matt Foley. We chose our godparents because they are good role models, love children, and have had godparents themselves. We think that if Stella ever needs to go to them in place of us, they will give her good advice and she will be well taken care of. Thanks to everyone who came and we appreciate all the travel efforts that you made to be with us on this day.
